MAKE-UP WORK AND LATE POLICIES: Time allowed for make-up work generally will be equal to the length of the absence. For absences of 3 class days or more, extra time may be allowed if both the instructor and parent agree more time is needed. Make up assignments must be personally submitted to the instructor. Late assignments are accepted up to three calendar days beyond the due date. The maximum grade for late work is 80. Late assignments must be personally submitted to the instructor. If you miss a test, you will need to make it up outside of class within 3 school days, otherwise it will be considered a re-test with a maximum score of 70.
RE-TEST POLICY: Students shall be permitted to retake any major test that she or he has failed, with the exception of ACPs, within 5 school days the failing grade was received. The higher score earned on either test will be recorded in the grade book, and the lower score removed (not averaged). A re-test may not be taken during class and must be scheduled with the instructor. Test corrections must be made with the instructor before a re-test will be administered.
